[He yelps, pained and furious but he doesn't answer. He's not going to offer this guy anything, to hell with that, to hell with trying to cooperate, sorry Gaius.]

[Gaius would understand. He knows what it's like to be so humiliated you can't be anything but furious. It took... Honestly probably this same man to make him change his mind. But the torture is just beginning. There's so much more to go.

Right now though, he's just whipping Rean's back into bloody ribbons.]

[He doesn't have any words, just screaming as his back is beaten bloody on top of how his bones are cracked and broken.]

[The screaming is cute. He's going to get a lot more of it, too. The beatings continue til Rean's a mess of broken bones, no good limbs, bruised all over with skin peppered in cuts and burns. The only use of the implant is forcing him not to pass out or go into shock. He has to be aware of the pain, even when he loses an eye to a hot iron. But now he's been dropped on the bed in that state, sprawled on his ruined back, and only now is his client undressing.]

Now let's try something really fun.

[He had honestly assumed sex wasn't going to be part of this at this point, but no. Apparently beaten bloody is this guy's type? He makes a sound that is just pure, choked terror. It was already too much ages ago. If he could even move he would, he still tries, desperately, to curl into a more defensive position. He's so exhausted from pain he's shaking.]

No, no no no please no...

[Ah, sweet begging. Rean really does have a cute face. But he wants to see it contort even more, so he's using his screen to do the one thing he really can't do on his own: force pleasure on top of the pain. It always makes them make such cute sounds.

When he climbs onto Rean all the pain of the injuries is there, but the man's hand pinning his broken wrist will also feel unreasonably good -- to say nothing of the rough and brutal way he forces himself inside him, with his other hand grinding down on the point of Rean's hip.]

[He's crying, sobbing honestly, hiccuping and blind with tears and only one eye and pain and now pleasure besides. It's the worst experience of his life made only more traumatic for the way it feels good.

At this moment he'd probably beg pretty pitifully to be treated gently. If he could form words.]

[Now that's perfect. He'll take his time with it -- he's rough but not too fast, making Rean feel every slam into his battered body. A few minutes in he shifts his hands to wrap around Rean's neck and squeeze.]

[He's almost incoherent with the warring sensations, how it's body is forced to endure and even enjoy this without shutting down. He gasps and tries to struggle against the hands, even with his arms broken. He's going to die, he feels like he's going to die enjoying getting fucked while his body is broken and bloody and that just makes him start laughing a little in hysteria.]

Are you afraid?

[His voice is a sadistic purr, as he leans in to mutter in Rean's ear.]

I could kill you right now and afford it. I won't, but... Well. Maybe I'll pull out your guts next time. Is that how you want to die?

I'll keep you awake while I crush every. single. piece.

[He punctuates that with sharp thrusts, squeezing lethally tight and then loosening up each time, just so Rean can really feel how fragile his life is right now. He could snuff it in just a few seconds.]

[He's afraid. And delirious with lack of oxygen and pain and arousal, gasping in sharply every time he's allowed to breathe. Being told he won't be killed this time doesn't seem real. His throat is bruised already, breath painful each time he's allowed to take one.

He blacks out for tiny microseconds between when he's allowed air. Not enough to do anything for him but major his consciousness even more scrambled and confused and frantic.

And while he's being fucked like this he cries, wanting to fight it but too battered to move, humiliation burning through him that his body can be forced to respond so even this level of pain is getting him off.]

[It's cute. It's really really cute, and he genuinely hopes Rean doesn't behave. He wants to fuck him up again. Try different things. But that's not right now. Right now he's just fucking him til they both get off. He pulls out right at the end, after Rean's already come, just to add to the humiliation by dragging Rean down and making a mess all over his face instead of inside of him.

He reaches down afterwards, breathing heavily, to smear it through Rean's hair, shove a little in his mouth, leaving him as gross as he possibly can.

But then, at least, he stops. He gets cleaned up and leaves, muttering smugly to someone on the way out that Rean's going to need a medic, as he turns off the compulsion to stay conscious.

Whether or not Rean's awake for it, staff arrives to carry him gently to the clinic, to rest inside a little pod, floating in a blueish liquid that heals his injuries. It's painful -- he can feel it all knitting back together, if he wakes up -- but it also only takes a few hours, before the door is lifting and there's a sort-of-familiar face looking down at him with open sadness and concern.]

Rean... Has it healed?

[He's out of it for most of the recovery at least. He'd stay out if he could but groggy consciousness returns to him and he's finding himself face to face with... Gaius of all people.

The gentle concern and sweetness, the real sadness, it has him bursting into tears pretty much immediately.

He's badly in need of friendly contact. It's only been a couple weeks since he lost his home, but it feels like years. It feels like months since Gaius's concerned warnings even though it's been a day.]

Ah-- Hey, hey...

[He reaches out gently, to pull Rean up to sitting properly, where Gaius can pat his hair and wipe at his tears. Probably he shouldn't touch Rean after all this but he's more used to caring for little siblings than newbie coworkers so it's instinct.]

That man is gone. I'll see to it that no one hurts you, today.

[Even if it's only one day, that is very much not a promise he should be making. It's one he can keep, but it's also the reason he's not supposed to talk to newbies in the first place. But he's the one who greeted Rean, so he feels like it's his responsibility to keep him alive and relatively sane. Which is also why he's not supposed to talk to newbies.

Oh, well. He's already attached, so he'll just eat the consequences.]

[Gaius is a sweet person who doesn't deserve to be here. Not that Rean deserves it either but he's really messed up about everything right now. So much so that even his aversion to touch isn't really enough to keep him from leaning right onto Gaius, starved for any kind of positive anything.

He's not coherent enough right now to even wonder if that promise is going to bite Gaius in the ass. He's just pathetically grateful to be looked at like a person right now, let alone being treated kindly or told that at least for today he's not going to have a repeat experience.]

[He is 100% bussing himself with this but he's okay with that. He's experienced, and he doesn't actually care about status, so... Sometimes he's gotta flex his popularity chops.

But he's not about to just tell Rean any of that. Instead he's carefully wrapping Rean up in a hug, petting him soothingly just like he would hold one of his siblings after a nightmare.]

Cry all you need to. Whatever we may be told, there's nothing wrong with being upset.

[He couldn't stop from crying anyway, after all that. The external wounds may be gone but the trauma is ridiculously heavy on his soul and mind. He could sleep for a week and not be rested.

He'll cry on Gaius for a while before he's too exhausted for more tears and is just leaning on Gaius tiredly.]

[Gaius is damp from the medical fluid by now but who cares? It's important to give Rean support so he holds him til he's done crying, then gently pulls away. He gets up from the chair he's in and picks up a bundle of clothes and some soap and sets them on it.]

Here. Real clothes.

[No more robes! You can get dressed in thungs that button and zip!]

There's a shower in the next room, so you can get all that stuff off. It's good for healing but it dries sticky.

[He's exhausted but he takes the pile of stuff, nodding mutely.]

[He needs to get stronger or he'll never be able to repay Gaius's kindness. Still he hesitates, not wanting to go but also growing more self conscious until he ducks away to shower off the goo and get dressed in real clothes. They look quite good on him, actually.

Once he's changed he's stepping out to find Gaius again. Actual clothes help too, a little. Leaving him feeling just a tiny bit less exposed and raw. With his boyish face and the nice garments he looks innocent and soft. A different appeal altogether than Gaius, but the sort of face and stature that would definitely attract both kind and exceedingly cruel clientele, anyone who likes them cute for whatever reason. He's definitely in for a rough time if he doesn't adapt fast.

He's had time to calm down a bit and think in the shower.]

Gaius? Still here?

[He's still here! He's set the pod up on it's clean cycle and is now tapping away at a screen. His brows are furrowed, his expression troubled, but he loosens up when Rean comes back and smiles.]

I'm here. You look a little more lively.

...Is everything all right?

[That wasn't a good expression to walk in on and he doesn't want to address how he looks right now, frankly.]

Yeah. I was just figuring out my schedule.

[It's a bad schedule but it's worth it to help Rean.]

I'll be busy later, but for now how would you feel about taking a walk?

[Worrying, with the way Gaius was frowning, but...]

A walk would be nice. Are you going to be all right?

As fine as one can ever be under these circumstances, yes.

[He's getting up and heading for the exit, trying his best to seem calm and full of good humour.]

Come on. We're allowed to go out if we don't wander too far.

[Rean will worry but nothing Gaius has told him has been a lie, he has no reason to believe Gaius would lie about not being able to handle getting him the rest of the day off.]
